On the 26th of April, the Exeter Coroners Court hosted a memorable event to celebrate the 21st birthday of the CCSS, honouring the volunteers who are at the heart of the organisation’s success.
Mr Spinney, Senior Coroner, spoke passionately about the dedication and compassion that CCSS volunteers bring to their work, emphasising that the service would not be able to operate without their tireless efforts.
Amongst the distinguished guests invited to the celebration, include: The High Sheriff of Devon, Commodore Jake Moores OBE RN, Acting Chief Constable Jim Colwell, Chief Fire Officer representative Damien Borlase, CEO of Southwest Ambulance Service, Dr. John Martin, Leader of Devon County Council, John Hart, Chair of Devon County Council, Percy Prowse.
Our founder Trustee, Roey Burden, was given the honour of cutting the cake, which was beautifully made by one of our talented volunteers in Exeter.
It was a fantastic day, and we’re grateful to everyone who participated and contributed to making it a success. We look forward to celebrating more milestones with you in the future!
