The Justice committee announced their report into the Coroners’ Service in England & Wales with calls for the creation of a National Coroners’ Service to make bereaved people receive a quality service no matter where they live.
Please do have a read through the report, the conclusions and recommendations are an interesting read as it covers rights for bereaved people, fairness for the bereaved, a unified national Coroner Service for England and wales as well as other points of interest.
We very much look forward to the government’s response in two month’s time and hope they take the recommendations on board including the need for a support service.
