This month, CCSS volunteers, members of staff and Trustees had the pleasure of attending a special event organised by Alan Wilson, Senior Coroner for Blackpool and Fylde, to celebrate the 10-year anniversary of CCSS volunteers in the Blackpool court.
The event was a thank-you to the dedicated CCSS volunteers, some of whom have been with us since day one. Alan Wilson delivered a warm welcome speech, expressing his appreciation for the tireless work of our volunteers and the strong collaboration between the CCSS, his office, and our volunteer team.
Among the attendees were the Mayor of Blackpool, Gillian Campbell, and the Deputy Mayor and Mayoress, Adrian and Sharon Hoyle, Joceline Greenaway, Head of Life Events; Roey Burden, Founder Trustee, Christopher Blue, CCSS Chair and Gwen Wild Area Manager from the CCSS; as well as Alan Wilson and his team.
It was a fantastic opportunity for all the volunteers to come together, which doesn’t happen very often!
